Philip T. Charon, CPA, CVA
Phil has over 35 years of public accounting experience with emphasis in taxation, auditing, and financial consulting. He earned his B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1976. Phil has experience in a variety of industries including construction, land development, oil-and-gas accounting, manufacturing, service, and not-for-profit. In addition to his years in public accounting, he held a C.F.O. position for a residential construction and land-development organization with peak annual revenues of more than $120 million. Phil has extensive professional post-graduate education in various tax and audit areas.
Frank Bonn, CPA
Frank has over 20 years of experience at the national and local firm level auditing non-profit, employee benefit plans, PCAOB clients, hedge funds, fund of funds, and asset management entities. He earned a B.A. in Accounting from New Mexico State University in 1993. Frank has been a Partner at both BDO USA and Rothstein Kass, as well as a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young. He has extensive professional post-graduate education in various audit areas.
Karla Wilks, CPA
Karla has over 10 years of tax and accounting experience at the national and local firm levels. In 2007, she earned her Master of Accountancy degree from Texas Christian University as the Top Neeley Scholar. After graduating, she worked for McGladrey, the 5th largest accounting firm in the nation. Karla was the primary service coordinator for several multi-million dollar non-profit organizations and companies engaged a wide range of industries. She has extensive experience and post-graduate school professional education in non-profit, partnership tax, corporate tax, and audit areas.
